With 20+ years leading teams across education, nonprofit, and workforce development, I’ve learned that most organizational problems aren’t complicated, they’re just unaddressed. I help teams name what’s not working, build systems that actually fit how they operate, and develop the leadership capacity to sustain results without me in the room.
“When you strengthen the systems behind the mission, you multiply the impact in front of it.”
— Manomay Kidd
Organizations don’t struggle because of a lack of commitment. They struggle because systems, roles, and priorities fall out of alignment as they grow. I help teams diagnose what’s broken, redesign what’s not working, and put structures in place that hold up over time.
Over the past two decades, I’ve led large-scale initiatives across education, nonprofit, and workforce development in designing programs from the ground up, rebuilding systems that weren’t working, and coaching teams to perform at a higher level.
As a senior leader, I’ve directed multimillion-dollar budgets, managed cross-functional teams of 40+, and built partnership frameworks across higher education and workforce sectors that improved career outcomes and postsecondary transitions. I’ve grown participation in dual enrollment, career readiness, and family engagement programs by double digits, not by adding resources, but by fixing the systems behind them.
Earlier in my career, I helped develop a college access and completion model recognized nationally for its results. I built the foundational data systems, scaled the enrichment programs, and managed the vendor and community partnerships that kept everything running. That experience, building something from the ground up and then growing it intentionally, shaped how I approach every engagement today.
My consulting work now focuses on organizations that are growing, transitioning, or stuck. I help teams diagnose what’s not working, design structures that fit their culture and capacity, and put the right people, processes, and tools in place to move forward with confidence.
What worked with 50 participants, breaks at 500. What one strong leader could hold together falls apart when the team grows. I’ve navigated that inflection point more than once, expanding programs across multiple sites, building out departments that didn’t have formal structure yet, and creating the operational infrastructure that allowed teams to grow without losing quality or consistency.
That work involves:
